Job Description

We are looking for a self-driven, passionate Mechanism Design Researcher to help flesh out the right incentives for Fermah’s proof market. You will work closely with Vanishree in this role. You will own this workstream and will have the opportunity to influence the core direction of one of the most sound projects in the space.

You will be challenged with complex problem-solving. This will be an exceptional opportunity for you to take ownership, drive results, and learn a ton along the way in ZK – one of the hottest sectors within crypto.

Responsibilities:

• Digest the framework of Fermah’s initial mechanism design and design the end-game of it, taking into account both theoretical and practical considerations
• Perform through theoretical analysis of the intermediate and the end-game versions
• Communicate (both written and verbal) algorithm specifications to the engineering team

What You Bring:

• Excellent knowledge of mechanism design, game theory, auction theory, and general finance fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs and some fine thoughts around proof market mechanism design
• Strong background in Mathematics and Computer Science fundamentals
